Nurse Practitioner

As a Nurse Practitioner, my main focus is to help patients reach their healthiest state possible in every aspect of their lives. My professional journey has taken me from primary care in San Antonio to working with diverse populations in New York City, including time with WellMed, the military community, and telemedicine. These experiences have shaped my understanding of patients from all walks of life and taught me to approach medicine with both skill and heart.

I hold a Master of Science in Nursing from UT Health Science Center at San Antonio and am board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the AANP. My years as a hospital nurse gave me a deeper understanding of the suffering and resilience patients experience, while my time in primary care broadened my perspective on disease management and prevention. Working in telemedicine taught me to think outside the box and find creative ways to serve patients wherever they are.

In my approach, I strive to make patients feel comfortable and seen, creating a partnership where they are active participants in their health journey. I aim to serve with compassion, kindness, and excellence—treating every patient as I would want my own family to be treated. My nursing foundation helps me see each person as a whole being, not just a diagnosis, and success to me means improving a patient’s health in a way that improves their life.

I feel deeply called to help people in any way I can. My purpose is to serve God through my work and to bring others closer to Him through compassionate medical care. I hope to impact every patient physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually—encouraging hope, healing, and confidence even in difficult times.

My father’s journey with liver failure has given me powerful insight into the patient and family experience. I often think of him when I care for others, reminding myself to treat each person with the same excellence and compassion I would want for him.

To care for my own well-being, I lean on my faith daily and rely on God’s grace. I enjoy being outdoors, staying active, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, and spending quality time with my husband and our four children. Together, we lead a church, which keeps me grounded in purpose and service.

Living authentically, to me, means walking in integrity and striving to be who God created me to be—in every role I hold as a wife, mother, daughter, friend, and healthcare provider. I know I can’t do it all on my own, and I’m grateful for His guidance every step of the way.

“I believe true healing comes through caring for the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—guided by the love and grace of Jesus Christ. My calling as a nurse practitioner is to serve others with His love, offering hope, compassion, and excellence to each patient I meet.”
