About Dr. Ramon G. Reyes
Dr. Ramon Reyes is a board-certified Family Practice Physician with over 30 years of experience. He owned Bandera Family Medical Group in San Antonio from 2000 to 2022 and later served as Medical Director for one of the city’s largest medical groups. In August 2025, he will open a new primary care practice in Boerne, Texas.
A retired U.S. Army Lt. Colonel, Dr. Reyes is fluent in English and Spanish and emphasizes integrative care for patients of all ages. He has led national clinical trials as Principal Investigator since 2012 and taught for 18 years as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University Health Science Center. Recognized as one of San Antonio’s top family physicians, he continues to mentor medical residents and students.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Reyes enjoys traveling with his wife, sailing, scuba diving, horseback riding, and live music. He also serves on the board of the San Antonio Council on Alcohol and Drug Awareness.
